По поводу отображения значка ВКонтакте можно вообще не беспокоиться. Этот значок очень часто живет собственной жизнью и указывает то, что ему хочется. При всем этом он может демонстрировать, что человек, который на этот момент не находится в социальной сети, по воззрению этого "умника" там на этот момент есть. Так-же и наоборот. То же самое касается отображения значка компа и телефона. Потому в хоть какой момент вы сможете огласить, что без понятия, что "чудит" эта соц сеть. Никто не подтвердить не опровергнуть ваши слова не сможет. В сети вы без усилий отыщите очень много историй подтверждающих это утверждение. При этом, действительно, несколько раз даже убеждался своими глазами в таких "глюках".

Ежели Вы про веб-сайт вконтакте там там вообще всегда не корректно отображается информация, вот даже прикалывались на деньках с дочкой.
Она сидит вконтакте, я захожу на ее страничку и вижу, что там написано была на сайте вчера во столько-то, а она час уже сидит не вылезая, как тут вообще можно веровать.
Потом еще ежели зашел на страницу с компа и следом с телефона, отображается последнее с телефона- это я на себе испытала в одноклассниках.

Вконтакте практически постоянно верно отображает устройство, с которого юзер выходит в социальную сеть. Только в редчайших случаях замечал эту ошибку - действительно ошибку. Ну, а чтобы зайти в контакт на компьютере, но отображения шло как с телефона, то довольно поставить перед адресом вк буковку "m" и точку; то есть, просто зайти с компа на мобильную версию. Вот и все - до боли просто и доступно.
